Today's not President's day. It's actually called Washington's Birthday(The actual birthday is the 22nd).
It's so more meaningful this year then usual, as we see the flames of rebellion against oppressive dictators across the middle-east. Would modern western democracies have the freedoms and prosperity we all enjoy and take for granted, were it not for George Washington? His leadership and humbleness, in defeating the British and refusing to serve more than two terms, set the tone and pace for freedom for so many hundreds of millions throughout the (western) world.
